|WARRANTY AND RETURN POLICY
A.MICROLAND ELECTRONICS CORP. (MEC)
provides (10) days for AMD or INTEL
CPUs and twelve months from the date of purchase for all other products that are
still under manufacturer warranty unless stated otherwise. The warranty will be voided on those products
that are damaged due to abuse, misuse, negligence or modification in any way by
any party other than MEC.
All regular RMA warranty repaired or replacement products
will be returned to customers within 30 to 45 days of receipt with the exception
of DOA service.
The buyer shall inspect goods at the time of delivery and
shall notify corresponding MEC sales
of any incorrect shipment or shipping damage within ONE day of
receipt of goods.
For any manufacturer that offers warranty on products
exceeding one year, it is the Buyer’s sole responsibility to deal directly with
the manufacturer for any repairs beyond the first year of warranty.
Buyers of Acard products must
return to 2San Inc. (Acard US branch) directly after
30 days of the original invoice date
For discontinued products, which found to be defective
after the 30 days DOA period, the manufacturer return policy will be followed
and may require customer return directly to the manufacturer.
If replacement product is unavailable for DOA, defective or
discontinued items, Microland reserves the right to replace with equivalent
parts, new or refurbished, as Microland deems necessary.
B.CREDIT POLICY: Generally, no credit
will be issued unless there is a justifiable reason approved by the management
case by case. The following conditions have to be satisfied before any credit can be
Merchandise must be received within 10 days from receipt of RMA number or
it will be canceled
Merchandise must be in original package and condition,
including all accessories and manuals.
If merchandise that meets manufacturer’s specifications is
returned for reasons such as “incompatibility with hardware/software”, a 15% restocking fee or current market
value no greater than the original invoice will be assessed. If product is
returned after 30 days of purchase, no credit will be issued. Buyers are
responsible for all compatibility issues.
Due to daily market fluctuation, the amount of credit is
based on current market value
no greater than the original invoice price at the time MEC receives the product return from
NO CASH REFUND.
CPUs, MEMORY, SYSTEM and All opened SOFTWARE cannot be return for credit.
Credit is applied to customer accounts, absolutely no
deduction will be allowed before a credit memo is issued.
15% or more restocking fee will be charged if evaluation products are not returned
within invoice stated evaluation period.
Restocking Fee and/or Service Charge is possible for all
credit return based on each case scenario.
C.DOA POLICY: Defective product purchased
within 30 days from the original
purchase date will be considered DOA (Defective on Arrival).MEC will replace or exchange
merchandise within seven business days upon receipt. New replacements are not guaranteed but every
effort will be made. (For Toshiba HDD, new replacement period is extended to
90days from original invoice date)No
credit will be issued for any in-stock item.MEC reserves the right to refuse all
DOA merchandise, if “No Trouble Found” or meets
manufacturer’s specification.MEC will cross-ship DOA merchandise
upon request if new order for the same item(s) has been placed thru Microland
D.SHIPMENT:All defective products returning for warranty service must prepay all
delivery and shipping expenses under this warranty policy. RMA number is valid for 10 days; if it is not received after
10 days from issuance you must obtain a
new RMA number; otherwise, all shipment will be refused.MEC will not accept freight
collect nor any international shipment
requiring a Broker or Customs Fee as well as duty, or any other fee. It is Buyer’s responsibility for any shipping
and improper packing damage. If you
refuse delivery of a shipment, you will be subject to a $20 handling fee as well
as the incurred integration freight costs.
E.LITIGATION:In the event of a dispute or discrepancy
between the Buyer and MEC, it is
hereby agreed that jurisdiction and venue shall vest in either Santa Clara
County, CALIFORNIA or Dallas County, TEXAS, at the sole discretion of MEC.
(MEC reserves the right to amend any
warranty at any time without any notification)
